Upon utilizing our service you agree to accept Foreride’s stipulations and terms for use. Foreride allocates the authority, at any given point, to change or amend these stipulations and terms. You are obliged in accordance to follow these changes or amendments.
Punctuality Assurance Policy
If a car arrives 15 minutes late, there will be no charge for the trip. To enact this policy, customers must have an online reservation made at least 24 hours prior.
If the lateness is due to weather, the guarantee will not be enacted. Trip value of up to $100 is covered, excluding surcharges, toll charges and gratuities.
Reserving a Car
It is strongly urged that clients contact Foreride in advance to book a car for arrival at a specific pick up time. Cars needed within a short window of time can be hired upon availability via phone or online.
Changing an Order or Cancelling
Any changes or cancellations to your order need to be made either via phone or online through the Foreride.com account. There is no charge to cancel an order up to 24 hours before the beginning of the service unless there are other stipulations. Charges of up to 100% of the cost of the trip will be applied if the cancellation occurs within 24 hours before the service.
Foreride is dedicated to avert or reduce charges resulting from cancelling, reliant upon operational circumstances.
Order status of a car can be checked at Foreride.com. E-mail will be the means of communication to confirm the order of a car, any changes to the order or the cancelling of an order.
If a car does not arrive at a designated point of pick up, remain where you are and call the dispatch office +1 (917) 204-4791 and we will connect you with your driver. Leaving the pick up location and not calling will result in you being billed for the total price of the trip (or a non-arrival fee). If we do not get a call from you, the driver will stand by for 15 minutes at a typical pickup location and up to an hour at an airport pickup location later than the appointed time. We will attempt to contact you via your mobile phone, home phone or designee’s phone number pertaining to the type of pickup. If we don’t hear from you, the car will leave and we will charge you for a “Non-Arrival” which will be the total cost of the trip (or a non-arrival fee) in addition to any idling charges. If you want the driver to stand by, call the Foreride office to request this. If we do not make contact with you following this time, we will get in touch with you again and if we don’t reach you we will charge you for the trip and the wait time. Thus, a Non-Arrival charge is equal to the fare cost and waiting time charge when the client does not show up at the arranged place. If you are having trouble finding your driver, call +1 (917) 204-4791 so as not to be billed for the “Non-Arrival” charge.
Inflictions Caused by You
If you or any members of your designated party become violently ill in the car and/or cause damage to the car, Foreride will require you to pay for the cleaning of the car. You also concur with and recognize your requirement to pay all costs of restoring the car to its normal operating status.
To make sure funds are available, an amount will be authorized on your credit card and it will appear as (pending funds) on your online statement. This amount is typically more than the anticipated charges in case you stop at points other than the ones you told us about or switched trip end locations. The amount will be charged to your credit card after the trip. You will receive an emailed record of this charge.
Corporate account charges appearing on an invoice are deemed accurate and are due upon receipt. There is a 10-day period from the invoice date where a charge can be disputed. Email a copy of the disputed receipt to Foreride with the charges in question clearly marked. Disputed charges received after their 10-day period will be considered invalid and will not be refunded.
Single-client and personal account charges on a client’s credit card are deemed accurate unless we are alerted to a discrepancy in writing within 15 days from the date of charge. Email copies of the credit card statements or credit card receipts to us with the charges in question clearly marked. Disputed charges received after the 15-day period will be considered invalid and non-refundable.
In cases of non-payment, all legal fees to collect payment will be paid by you. This includes legal consultation, accounting and expenses involved in legal proceedings to secure payment.
Driving services will be performed by professional chauffeurs. In most locations we can provide you with a driver who speaks English. We can find you a chauffeur who speaks Spanish or another language per your request. Chauffeurs adhere to a professional dress code and businesslike demeanor. Each driver has a cell phone and you can communicate your travel details to him.
Foreride reserves the right to make changes to our rates and all other applicable charges at any time and at our discretion.
Paying Your Fare
Fares need to be paid at the end of the trip. When paying by credit card, the full amount of the charge will be charged to your card after the finish of the trip.
Trip Beginning and Ending Cost
These prices are determined due to miles traveled and regions.
Fees by the Hour
Vehicles can be rented by the hour. Amount of time minimums and region stipulations are applicable.
Pickup Grace Period
At an airport, a driver will wait up to 30 minutes for domestic flights and at executive terminals. At international terminals there is a 60 minute grace period after the driver is informed of the flight arrival time. There is a 30 minute grace period for pickups from a cruise ship and 15 minutes at a port or private yacht location. At all other pickup locations there is a 15 minute waiting time.
Foreride confirms information about all domestic and international flights 60 minutes before dispatching a driver. We bill the client after the grace period beginning from estimated time of arrival. We cannot monitor train schedules, thus billing begins at arranged pickup time.
Foreride’s duty is to transport passengers to previously arranged arrival points, no matter what the destination’s known, specific, or business name may be. These known, specific or business names are not under Foreride’s jurisdiction nor are we responsible for access restrictions or the establishment’s times of operation. Foreride also has no authority over the intentions or activities of the passengers at any destination.
Halting the Car
Destination and miles traveled determines charge per stop. Do contact us for prices. Briefly stopping the car to pick up a refreshment or to quickly drop off something does not result in an extra charge. Though if a stop is long or a series of them are made, the client will incur additional charges, as will the addition of more passengers.
The customer will be billed for round trip tolls per the trip’s route. Foreride will bill for round trip tolls going to and coming from the specific destination. Foreride is only collecting these tolls, we do not determine their cost.
Extra Airport Service
For an extra $15 charge, the Foreride driver will personally meet you at the airport. Be advised that parking and waiting extra charges will be charged to your credit card or account. The Foreride driver will be told to wait for the client by baggage claim or the customs exit with a sign bearing the client’s last name. Then the driver will accompany the client to the car’s location and assist with their luggage. This option offers a gratis 30 minutes free for domestic flights and 60 minutes free for international flights stemming from time of arrival.
Fees for Parking
Fees for parking and any other specific airport fees will be charged additionally. They are not charged by Foreride, they are charged directly by airport parking entities.
The amount you are charged is the total charge. A tip to the driver is not required unless you wish to do so.
Infant Safety Seats
Foreride strongly urges parents to provide their own infant safety seat, though we can provide one for you at an additional charge of $20 per seat. We request that you tell us you need an infant safety seat when placing your reservation.
Enhanced charges may be applied on holidays and in cases of extreme weather.
