Punctuality is extremely important to driver Maurizio Trigo. He always makes sure to be at least 15 minutes early to a pickup. ?If I?m on time that means I?m late,? he says. Maurizio has been a professional driver for 15 years and is originally from Bolivia. He is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish both at the 100% level. Aside from Washington D.C., he has lived in Virginia cities such as Arlington, Alexandria and Lakeridge. He most often drives clients to D.C.?s historic monuments, the White House, Georgetown, Reagan and Dulles airports and the city?s museums. The Georgetown waterfront is his favorite place in D.C.
Maurizio likes working as a driver because he loves meeting new people and his nature is to serve and be helpful. When you?re in his car, he will be quiet until you start a conversation. Then he will be happy to share his vast knowledge of the city and act as your tour guide. Maurizio is a very cautious driver and doesn?t get stressed or upset by traffic conditions. He drives a black 2016 Chevy Suburban with black leather seats and climate the passenger can control. There is an iPad with WiFi available for the client to enjoy their choice of Netflix, Hulu or Pandora. There is water, Altoids, Life Savers and napkins and tissues in Maurizio?s car as well.
In his spare time, Maurizio does work for his church--he is a Deacon--and he likes to spend time with his family (he has two daughters). He also enjoys running and watching Washington Capitals hockey games.
